Stretch - Modify

Move or extend part of the object to a specify distance
Stretch essentially combines Move, Trim and Extend into one command

Home tab > Modify panel > Stretch

Cross-select the object, press Enter

Specify base point

Snap a point on the object

Move toward left, input the stretch distance, press Enter

Object become shorter

Objects that are completely enclosed within the crossing window will move
Objects that are partially enclosed by the crossing window will extend
You only can use crossing or crossing polygon selection for stretch command


Circle, ellipse and block cannot be stretch
