Change Layer States - Layer Tools

Another ways to change the layers States

Freeze / Off Layers

Home tab > Layer panel > Freeze / Off

Select the object on the layer you want to frozen or turn off

Turn All Layers On / Thaw All Layers

Home tab > Layer panel > Turn All Layers On / Thaw All Layers

This will automatically turn on and thaw all off and frozen layers

Lock / Unlock Layers

Home tab > Layer panel > Lock / Unlock

Select the objects on the layer you want to lock, the layers will locked and fade
You can controls the fading rate by the slider on layer panel
