Offset - Modify

Creates concentric circles, parallel lines and parallel curves

Home tab > Modify panel > Offset

 

Specify offset distance, Input the value then press Enter

Specify point on side to offset
Move cursor outside or inside to preview the result
You still can change the offset distance if necessary

Click outside or inside to specify the position to offset

Options

Multiple
Repeat the 1st 2 steps

Click Multiple on the command line

Continue to click inside until the red no entry sign appear, press Enter to terminate it

Through
Start the command

Click Through on the command line

Select object to offset

Specify through point, snap to a point

Object offset through a point without specify any distance

Layer
Start the command

Click Layer on the command line

Select Current

Press Enter for the default Through option

Select object to offset

 

You can preview the offset

Specify through point

Object offset based on the current layer properties
