Plotting

Printing Layout

Each layout represents one sheet
You define what should print on the layout
Layout is based on paper size that determined by the printer or plotter

Output tab > Plot panel > Plot

Select plotter from the list
Select the paper size
Desire the plot area

Layout: Based on the layout
Display: Based on the current display
Extents: Includes every objects in the drawing
Window: Window select the plot area

Preview first before plot

Preview will show what exactly plot on the paper

After plot a balloon notification will pop-up to show the result of plotting

Plot in Model

You might want to plot some area of the drawing without creating any layout

Output tab > Plot panel > Plot

What to plot: Select Window

 

Specify 2 corners for the area to plot
